Three Formats
At bet game you can switch between odds formats. Here is what each one means and how to read them.
The most common format at bet game and across European sportsbooks. The number shown is your total return per 1 unit staked — including your original stake back.
Popular in UK markets and horse racing. The fraction tells you profit relative to stake. Read it as "win X for every Y staked." Does not include your original stake in the number shown.
Used in US markets. Positive odds (+) show profit on a Rs 100 stake. Negative odds (−) show how much you need to stake to win Rs 100 profit. Less common at bet game but still available on some markets.

Core Knowledge
A lot of Pakistani players who are new to sports betting make the same mistake: they see high odds and think "big win" without considering what those odds are actually saying. The truth is that odds are the bookmaker's way of expressing two things at once — the implied probability of an outcome happening, and the potential reward if you are right. Understanding both sides of that equation is what separates a player who bets thoughtfully from one who just picks randomly.
Take a simple cricket example on bet game. Pakistan is playing a weaker team and the odds are 1.30 for a Pakistan win. That translates to an implied probability of about 77%. The market is saying Pakistan will win roughly three out of every four times in this situation. The odds are low not because bet game is being unfair, but because a Pakistan win is genuinely very likely. Betting Rs 10,000 at 1.30 means you collect Rs 13,000 if you win — Rs 3,000 profit. That is fine if you are confident in the outcome, but you need to ask yourself whether 1.30 offers real value given the risk of a Rs 10,000 loss if Pakistan somehow slips up.
On the flip side, if the opposing team is available at 8.00, the implied probability is only 12.5%. That sounds like easy money to fade — but upsets do happen, and when they do, Rs 1,000 at 8.00 returns Rs 8,000. The key question at bet game or any sportsbook is not just "who do I think will win" but "are the odds offering fair value for the probability I personally assign to this outcome?" That gap between your estimated probability and the bookmaker's implied probability is where betting value lives.
Here is something every player at bet game should understand about how the odds on any given market are constructed. If you add up the implied probabilities of all possible outcomes in a market, they will always total more than 100%. That excess percentage is called the overround — and it is the bookmaker's built-in margin.
In a two-outcome cricket market with Pakistan at 1.85 and India at 2.05, the implied probabilities are approximately 54.1% and 48.8% respectively. Added together that is 102.9% — not 100%. The extra 2.9% is the overround. It ensures the bookmaker makes a profit over a large enough sample of bets regardless of which side wins each individual event. At bet game, the overround on major cricket and football markets is kept deliberately slim — typically between 2% and 5% — to give Pakistani players better value than many competing platforms.
In decimal format, the odds number is your total return multiplier. Odds of 3.00 means you receive Rs 3 back for every Re 1 staked — Rs 2 profit plus your Rs 1 original stake.
Divide 1 by the decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 → 1 ÷ 2.50 = 0.40 = 40% implied probability. This tells you what chance the market assigns to that outcome occurring.
If you think a team has a 55% chance of winning but bet game's odds imply only 40%, you may have found value. If your estimate is lower than the implied probability, the bet is probably overpriced.
Stake × Odds = Total Return. Stake × (Odds − 1) = Profit only. Use the calculator above before placing any bet to confirm your expected payout in Rs.
Navigate to Sports Betting, find your event, select the market, enter your stake in the betslip, and confirm. The potential return is always shown before you submit.
Sport-Specific Guide
Cricket, football, and horse racing all use the same decimal numbers but the market structures vary significantly. Here is what to look for in each.
Cricket is by far the most bet sport at bet game for Pakistani players, and it has some of the most varied betting markets of any sport. The main markets are straightforward — match winner, series winner — but the depth goes much further.
In a T20 match, typical match winner odds might be Pakistan at 1.65 and the opponent at 2.35. Those imply probabilities of 60.6% and 42.6% (the gap above 100% is the overround). Top batsman markets usually price the favourites at 4.00–6.00 with long shots at 12.00 or higher. Over/under run markets (total team runs above or below a set line) are popular because the result is fast, clear, and does not depend on a specific player performing.
Live cricket odds at bet game move faster than in almost any other sport. A wicket in the first powerplay can shift match winner odds dramatically. If Pakistan are 20/3 after 4 overs batting first, the odds on an India win might jump from 2.00 to 1.35 within seconds. This is where in-play betting rewards players who watch carefully and act quickly.

Football is the second most popular betting sport at bet game for Pakistani players, driven largely by Premier League, La Liga, and Champions League matches. Football markets have three possible outcomes rather than two — home win, draw, or away win — which changes how the odds work.
A typical Premier League match might show Man City at 1.70 (59% implied), Draw at 3.50 (28.6%), and Arsenal at 4.20 (23.8%). Those three probabilities together total 111.4% — a higher overround than cricket because the three-way nature of football makes pricing more complex. For major tournament games, the overround tightens considerably at bet game.
Asian Handicap betting is worth understanding for football. Instead of the standard 1X2 market, a handicap removes the draw option entirely by giving one team a virtual head start in goals. This creates two-way markets with odds closer to 2.00 on each side, which many players find more attractive than backing a strong favourite at 1.40 in the regular market.

Racing odds work differently from team sports. In a horse race with 8 runners, the odds on each horse reflect both that horse's expected ability and the field as a whole. The favourite might be priced at 2.50 while a rank outsider sits at 25.00 or higher. Adding up all the implied probabilities will typically give you 110–115% in a competitive field — a higher overround than team sports because pricing a large field of unpredictable animals is genuinely complex.
The key bet types in racing at bet game beyond the simple win bet include: each-way (win or place in top finishers), forecast (pick first and second in correct order), and combination forecast (first and second in either order). Each-way bets are useful for backing longer-priced horses — even if your selection finishes second or third, you collect a portion of the win odds on the place part of the bet.
An accumulator — or acca — combines multiple selections into one bet. The magic of accumulators is in how the odds multiply. If you pick four matches and all four come in, your combined odds are the product of all four individual odds. This turns relatively modest individual odds into potentially life-changing returns on a small stake.
Example: You pick Pakistan to beat India (1.90), Lahore Qalandars to beat Karachi Kings (2.10), Man City to beat Arsenal (1.70), and Real Madrid to beat Barcelona (2.40). Combined acca odds = 1.90 × 2.10 × 1.70 × 2.40 = 16.26. A Rs 500 bet pays Rs 8,130 if all four win.
The obvious risk is that all selections must win. One result going wrong voids the entire acca. This is why bet game recommends treating accumulators as entertainment bets placed at modest stakes, not as a primary strategy. The overround also compounds — a 3% overround on each individual selection becomes roughly 12% on a four-fold accumulator, which is why the combined odds are always slightly less than fair value.
